Maybe You've Tried the False Jesus - Anti-Messiah

I know I've posted about this before, but I feel that I should again. It's important that my friends know what I believe and practice. Especially as we interact on My Space, Facebook, and in person, whenever the opportunity arises.

I am saved by grace, through faith in Jesus. I call HIM Yeshua because that is HIS real name. Jesus is a Greek "nickname" as far as I can tell. From what I can find it has no meaning. When you look up the Greek name Jesus it refers you to HIS real Hebrew name, Yeshua. Yeshua means "Yah is Salvation." In English, "God is salvation."

I believe in Yeshua and I believe in HIS Word. I have faith in HIM, therefore I have faith in HIS Word. I believe HIS Word is true and unchanging from Genesis to Revelation. I don't believe we have the autonomy to decide for ourselves what we are to do and not to do as followers of HIM. HIS Word dictates it.

I believe the foundation of all Scripture is HIS Word, specifically Torah - HIS loving instructions; divine parameters for life. Professing Christians call it The Law, and believe it is bondage and is not for us as followers of Yeshua. I don't believe that. You cannot separate the Living Word from the Written Word.

I once was in bondage to sin, called lawlessness by the Apostle John, in 1 John Chapter 3. When I accepted the free gift of grace in Yeshua I was set free from bondage to sin (Paul in Romans 6,7, and 8). I am now free to submit to HIS Torah - HIS Law (Romans 8).

Because I'm free from lawlessness I can be a lawkeeper, by the work of grace in and through me, as I have faith in what HE said - Torah; HIS Word.

Because of this I reject Easter, named after a pagan goddess of the groves, Astarte, Eostre, and by other names - along with the practices of egg laying bunnies, sunrise services, and the like. I embrace Yeshua as the Passover Lamb of God (Yahweh) according to Scripture in both the Holy Scriptures we call the Old Testament and according to the Apostolic Scriptures we call the New Testament. They speak the same Truth, the same gospel; Torah.

Likewise I embrace all the Feasts of the LORD, while rejecting the pagan practices of the Church, such as Lent, St Pat's Day, Christmas and Sunday Sabbath keeping. I embrace the 7th day Sabbath as given in Scripture. I observe it from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, according to Scripture. This is what I believe, teach my family, and we observe in our home. We don't know it all, and don't yet understand it all - but we want to.

Today I'm off work in observance of the High Sabbath of the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. My kids are home from school. We will get together tonight in a Holy Gathering at our fellowship and have a meal, worship in song, and discussion of HIS wonderful Word.

If you would like to know more you may read articles I've written over the past 4 years on this site. I assure you I've studied this extensively and continue to do so. I would welcome questions if you have them. Again, I'm still studying, still looking and open to being wrong. But I also know there are things that are foundational and that is the basis of all study. HE never changes and HIS Word never changes. We must change, and as fleshy humans we resist change.

If you have tried religion and it hasn't worked, then you need to know what HIS Word says. Religion is what man says. Truth is what Yahweh said! HE said the Truth will set you free. If you say you've tried Jesus and it didn't work for you, well maybe it wasn't the real Jesus you tried. Maybe it is the one who looks Greek, Roman, or Babylonian, instead of looking like the prophesied Messiah as depicted in Torah and the Prophets. Yeshua (Jesus) preached who HE was to the two men on the road to Emmaus through the Torah and the Prophets. You will only see a clear true picture of HIM through those foundational portraits and prophecies. You will never see HIM clearly any other way. You will always have a distorted or half accurate picture. Without the pure Truth of who HE is and what HE requires, and what it means to follow HIM you will remain in bondage and lost. But the Truth will set you free!

What about all the epistles of Paul, which state you are no longer under the law? What about when Yeshua and his disciples were picking and eating wheat on the sabbath and Yeshua specifically says that the law is not binding?

Is the Bible really very clear on whether we are suppose to follow the law or now? Because Paul says no, and Jesus seems to have broken the law or ignored it more than once (the women taken in adultery is another example where he refuses to enforce the Torah).

Compassionate heathen! Wow! That's quite the moniker! Anyway, have you ever thought just what law Paul was talking about? If he was talking about Torah then we can't hear what he says because, according to Deuteronomy he is a false prophet and should really be stoned to death! Paul does not say we are to disregard Torah. And Jesus did not break Torah even once. HE broke the Law of Judaism with its additions and subtractions to Torah. HE perfectly kept Torah with the woman because the witness had to be the first to cast the stone, according to Torah, and no one was willing to step forward and do that. Whether she was guilty or not, according to Torah there was not a witness to make stoning legal. If Jesus/Yeshua broke any of Torah and taught others to do so HE is not eligible for Messiahship, according to the Bible. But those who disregard what the Bible says easily make the jump to the lie that HE did and that HE began a new thing. That Jesus that you follow, whom you say transgressed Torah... well he is a false messiah and you need a new one! Read Scripture without the colored glasses of tradition and see what it says. I would encourage you to check out the Galatians series videos at Messiah Fellowship Online. http://messiahfellowshiponline.com/in-search-of-manna

In this contextual look at Galatians Ron Hyre and I go verse by verse and chapter by chapter through Galatians with the context fitting the rest of Paul's letters, the Words of Jesus in the New Testament and in keeping with the foundation of Torah and the Prophets, of whom HE said, "speak of ME." I encourage you to dig a bit deeper.

Amazing you are focusing on this name in what language it is speaking, maybe we all have to speak Hebrew language to be saved, or make circumcision. Or even be born a Hebrew to become a "true" believer in Jesus Christ!?

By adding those human made "laws" you put up an hindrance, because we all live by faith alone, the new covenant, the Divine expression of Jesus Christ, the fulfillment of the law and are now made righteous through Him, born anew, and have our fellowship of the Jerusalem above who is the Mother of us all, read Gal. chapter 3,4,5,6 and also the whole Hebrews.

"Human made laws??????" What Bible are you reading? The Torah was given by God HIMSELF, not by any man! The human made laws consist of changing Sabbath to sunday, rejecting the Feasts of the LORD in favor of the pagan holidays of Christmas, Easter, etc. And yes we do live by faith. But Scripture teaches that faith only comes by hearing, and hearing only come by the Word of God. I encourage you to do some study. The Torah is not a hindrance, but as Paul echoed David, it is a delight, a joy, and it is able to make one wise unto salvation. Paul said it was good for doctrine, for reproof and correction, and was able to make one complete for every good work. Remember that Paul didn't have any Word except Genesis through Malachi. You err not knowing the Scripture. I encourage you to do some real in depth, in context study, and may I suggest you start at the foundation in Genesis. You will never understand the writings of the "new testament" without knowing and understanding the Torah and the Prophets.

Anonymous, I see you are going by the moniker, the lamb of god. Do you understand who the Lamb of God is? HE is Yeshua. HIS Name means salvation and HE is the Passover Lamb, not the Easter Lamb. HE told the scribes and pharisees that they indeed studied the Scriptures but they didn't understand that those Scriptures spoke of HIM. HE told them that they claimed they believed Moses but HE told them they didn't. HE said if they believed Moses they would believe HIM. Do you believe Moses? If you don't then you will never believe the Truth that Messiah is saying. Everything about Jesus (Yeshua is HIS real name) is founded in Torah. HE cannot be different than the prophecies concerning HIM. HE spoke them in the first place (1 Peter 1). HE could not be the Prophet foretold by Moses had HE taught against Torah (Deut 13). Please study the Scriptures in context. You must be willing to lay down tradition in order to hear the Truth. Yeshua said the Truth is the Word of the Father in John 17. HE said HE didn't come to say anything other than what HIS Father had said. HE said HE didn't come to destroy the Torah (Law). Visit http://messiahfellowshiponline.com and click on the In Search of Manna tab and look for our videos on the Book of Galatians. There are two laws at work in the Bible. One is the Torah of Yahweh, and the other is the law of man, specifically the Law of Judaism, which was/is comprised of Torah and man's additions and subtractions. If you're really interested, watch these videos for free online, and do the study for yourself. Peace -Banner
